Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
I enjoyed some down time with my children and may have binge watched a little too much Netflix!
🌟 The card for the coming week comes from one of my old fave decks – “The Eagle King”.
I was delighted to see a card with an Eagle as I had a beautiful eagle glide slowly over my yard just yesterday as I was soaking up the sun and getting grounded. It was such a special moment.
This deck presents us with two interpretations for the card, both of which are relevant this week. Feel into both messages and see which best resonates with you. For me it is usually bits of both.
The Eagle King brings these messages…
As an Ally – The Eagle King is a sign that your highest destiny is within reach.
You’re on the right path now, even if you can’t see where you’re going. The Eagle King soars high above the mountains and valleys of life and is able to see the big picture when you seem to be lost in a bit of a fog. He makes a formidable Ally as he takes your prayers up toward the sun and releases them to the Divine. They will be answered for the highest good of all.
Its a fortunate omen when the Eagle King decides to be your Ally.
As a Challenger – The Eagle King challenges you to see a higher purpose to events. Not everything is meant to come to pass according to your specifications. If you can’t see the forest for the trees, stand back for a while and let the Eagle King fly high on your behalf.
Perhaps it’s time to speak to someone who has objectivity and an ability to see the bigger picture where you don’t. Just remember that even when things don’t go the way you expect, there’s always a reason for the detour.
The Eagle is a powerful spirit animal, there is much information online about Eagle Medicine – this snippet is very aligned to the messages for the coming week..
The Eagle spirit animal is an inspiring messenger. With the ability to soar to heights other birds merely dream of, the Eagle is a powerful animal totem that offers lessons about looking closely at the most minute of details in order to see life from a broader perspective. When this graceful hunter comes into your life, it’s time to look inward with a careful eye. Allow your heart to guide you, and opportunities you never dreamed were possible will present themselves when you least expect it. Eagles have feet with four toes. Four is a symbol for having a solid foundation and being grounded. Those who are guided by the Eagle spirit animal are grounded. Even though the Eagle can soar to great heights, they are still strongly connected to the earth. Among being grounded and connected to the earth, those guided by the Eagle are also resilient and in complete harmony with the spiritual aspects of their lives. Unafraid of the unknown, these seekers accept life’s challenges with unshakable courage, determination and confidence. (www.spiritanimal.info/eagle-spirit-animal/)
