Appointment Aftercare – Get the Most out of your Reiki or Energy Healing Session.

After an Energy Healing session the energy can continue to flow for up to 3 days.

The night after your session you will normally have a lovely deep sleep.

Depending on what has come up for healing in your session, you may feel really relaxed and calm, very tired or even energized, as energy blockages are cleared from your energetic system.

Please ensure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water per day to support your body.


If you feel emotional, there may be past emotions coming up for healing; feel into these emotions, acknowledge their presence and the lessons they have shown you. State that you are now willing to let them go with gratitude. If you need to cry, don’t hold back – let the tears flow.

You may wish to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake for a few days to further support your body to heal.

Salt baths/showers or ocean swims are a wonderful way to cleanse and revitalise your mind, body and soul between sessions.

Practicing regular meditation or mindfulness practices will help continue your healing progress.


I recommend fortnightly or monthly sessions until you have worked through what it is you are hoping to achieve, and for general balance and peacefulness.
