Yesterday while I was driving, I asked my guides which deck should be used for this week’s reading, I was guided to put on the radio. There was a song which I’ve always loved ‘Beautiful Day’ by U2. I looked over at the sunny sky just as a car pulled up next to me with the message “Be Light”. This was a clear message of what we need to do for the week ahead in these uncertain times.
It was also the answer to what deck to work with this week – the Work your Light Oracle.
🌟 The card that came through from the deck is “The Initiation”. This card is much in theme with cards over the previous weeks and for some time to come.
Many are going through some very difficult, heart wrenching times. We may feel like we are at our lowest point. Look closely at the image of this card, you can see the light creeping through in the distance to a beautiful and radiant place. This is where we are heading. Our very own ‘beautiful day’.
It will take some time, longer than some of us anticipated. While we go through this ‘rite of passage’, remember that it is okay to sit with your shadows, it is okay to sit with your feelings (especially those that are not comfortable), feel the grief, feel the sadness, the frustration. Feel it to release it. It is in this place of discomfort and vulnerability that you will see the light coming in to lift you, taking you to somewhere even brighter.
The guidance for this card states that initiations require that we cross the threshold from one world or state of being to the next. We are called to face what scares us and have to be willing to lose it all, in order to gain a new way of being, of safety, of security, of depth, of meaning.
Allow your soul to step forward and guide you. This is time of rebirth. Look for new perspectives in your situation, find that light, find that inner peace and most of all find love for each other.
